The C.050 Rookie Manual Folding Umbrella from German brand Knirps, has been developed, designed and produced for pupils from the age of six on their way to school, to the playground or to sports activities. The umbrella, which can be opened manually and is easy to operate, weighs only 205g, has a diameter of 90cm and has been reliably tested in a wind tunnel at speeds of up to 90km/h. Additional safety is provided by the reflective, light-emitting material and the reflective, all-round band on the bottom of the canopy.
